The Ring Bearer and the Chocolate Rubber Ducky
As a lot of you know, my little sis Megan was married over the weekend (April 25th). She was brave enough to ask my little man to be Ring Bearer. This has been a task at hand trying to figure out exactly HOW he would get down the entire aisle! Lo and behold, my fabulous mom had a brilliant idea! She bought a chocolate rubber ducky that is yellow with an orange beak and black beady eyes! It looks like the real thing. Unfortunately someone showed the candy monster (jensen) the duck BEFORE he was supposed to walk down the aisle which caused a bit of a temper tantrum. He was biting the box, ferociously trying to get the the "prize". Finally we just let him have it as he was waiting to make his grand appearance!
Jensen was not really concerned with his actual "task" as the ring bearer; which was carrying the pillow. He just wanted the chocolate! I think he takes after his Glammy, because Mommy over here does not like Chocolate!
As a part of the wedding party, we all dressed up for the occasion. I was the Matron of Honor, Justin was an Usher and of course Jensen was the ring bearer or chocolate rubber ducky holder! The O'Hara clan was looking mighty fine that evening! Justin even wore pink!!!
After all of the sugar Jensen consumed and all of the people, lights and music......he was on HYPER mode!!! He ran and ran all over the place. We probably walked 3 miles throughout the evening! Jensen was especially interested in the speakers where the music was blaring out of! He kept walking up to the speaker and "head banging". That is his form of "dancing". He was definitely the life of the party and a hit with all the ladies. He thinks he is as big as everybody, so he would just get on the dance floor in the middle of everyone and start busting a move. I think he picked up some new moves over the weekend! He is now swiveling his hips all around!!!
By around 11pm, that was it! It was 2 1/2 hours past his bedtime and I believe he was just plain delirious by that point. He was running full speed across the dance floor heading straight to the speaker and then he fell flat on his face! Poor baby was just lying there, not moving and bawling his eyes out. I picked him up and there was the blood! He had busted open his upper lip. Luckily the teeth were still intact! After that, we decided to call it a night.
We had a great time and I know Jensen had a blast! Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. AJ Boren!!!! Thanks for letting us be a part of such a spectacular event!

Mr. Outdoors
Hello all!!! It's been awhile since we posted anything. Jensen has been doing great, besides the fact he keeps getting ear infections. He has his 3rd ear infection of the year! We may end up doing tubes if it keeps up. I also think he might be cutting more teeth. Currently he has 4 on the top and 2 on the bottom.
He is so mobile now and loves to constantly walk around in circles. I have contemplated putting a pedometer on him to see how much he actually walks, because he never sits still! His new love is the outdoors. He has become one with nature!!! If he sees the door open up to "outside" he is running towards it. If you don't let him out, he will throw a fit! Boys!!! He's still big into dancing as well. He now climbs on top of the coffee table and dances on there.
Jensen is also trying to talk a lot! Some of the words that are understandable are cookie, izzar (lizzard), light, bubbles, baby, hey, that, what's that, who's that, dank u (thank you), che (cheese). He constantly babbles!!!
Most recently we took Jensen to Old MacDonald's Farm in Humble. He absolutely loved that place. Anything outdoors! They have tons of animals he was able to pet, he rode on a pony, chased a peacock and a turkey, and played on the playground. Oh yes, and I forgot to mention he got to eat a pickle! He loves sour things like pickles, lemons and limes. I guess he gets it from his mama, because I like sour candy.
On April 25th, he is going to be a ring bearer in my sister's wedding. That should definitely be interesting. I don't know how we will get him to walk down the aisle. I have to start brainstorming! He doesn't like his hand held, so it will be tricky. Mom suggested a wagon, but he might climb out. I'm open to suggestions! ;)
Hope everyone is doing great!
